A Chronological Survey of Sedimentary Landforms in the Continental United States

A Chronological Survey is ultimately intended to serve as the companion and reference volume to a larger work entitled Introduction to Stratigraphy and Sedimentation. The Survey will explore the environmental conditions that existed during each Geologic time period from the Cambrian to the present, and will select one or more localities for each time period to examine in detail. We will not cover the Precambrian at this time, but may add chapters on that later.

Together, these works are a massive undertaking that will require much time to complete. The primary author welcomes contributions from others!
