Turn your PS2 on, insert the Xenosaga: Episode I disk, and get ready for the adventure. In the opening menu, only "New Game" and "Continue" options appear; the game may be configured via the in-game menu. Upon selecting "New Game", you are presented with a series of introduction cutscenes. You may pause them by selecting "start". Also, from this menu you may skip the current cutscene by pressing the triangle button on your controller. Eventually, you will obtain control of Shion Uzuki.
