256 Petru Şchiopul (1574-1577, 1582-1591, 1582-1591). Ruler called “Father of boyars”. Contributed to the extension of Catholicism in Moldova, desired to obtain the Polish throne.

257 Ieremia Movilă (1595-1606). Occupied the throne with the Polish support, later he was recognised by the Turks as Moldova´s ruler, under the condition to pay regularly the tribute.
