Wings 3D/User Manual/Plugins
Plugins expand the functionality of Wings3D with capabilities not found in the basic Wings3D installation. They can do things such as adding new tools, import/export capabilities, or other features that may be considered too unusual or experimental for inclusion into a regular Wings3D release. Typically, they consist of an Erlang .beam file, but may include supporting files. They are installed by either directly copying the file to the Wings3D plugin directory or by using the dialog available through the Edit|Plug-in preferences menu.
