The Mixtecs were a mysterious civilization that took place in the 1200s BC. They later called themselves the Aztecs.
What country do they live in? edit
The Mixtecs probably settled in Mexico as early as 2000 BC and split into two tribes (Aztecs and Mayans) around 999 BC.
What did their buildings look like? edit
The Mixtecs probably had sacrifice temples but not much is known about them so we don't know yet.
What did they believe? edit
The Mixtecs did believe in a god, Huitzilopochtli, and he was the patron god of the Mixtecs. They probably had more gods that are yet to be discovered.
