Wiki Dispute Resolution/Introduction

This book will explore existing and proposed dispute resolution process and practices on wikis, with special attention paid to the wikis in the Wikimedia Foundation family.

It will provide guidance to those puzzled about how to handle disputes over content, user behavior, or policy.

It will describe traditional dispute resolution in other organizations and look at how this applies or might apply to wikis.

It will also consider the unique problems of wikis as distinct from organizations which meet face-to-face.
