Alcohol interacts with many medications in a variety of ways. One example is making seizures more likely to occur in conjunction with bupropion (a smoking cessative and antidepressant). Check with a doctor before starting the medication if you drink regularly

Grapefruit

Grapefruit, including it's juice increases the amount of many medications absorbed into the blood. This is most major for blood pressure medications, but affects many others. Before drinking the juice, ask your doctor wether you can drink it, and if so, how much you should have. your dose may need to be adjusted to compensate.
