WebObjects is used for many different purposes. While commercial use is well known to many people, the academic use is not that well known. One example of how WebObjects made it possible to build a complex solution for E-Learning is EverLearn. Have a visit there to get an idea.

Several new things were created with EverLearn:

  • Wiki-like page-editing without the need to know HTML
  • Editing of pictures inline in-browser
  • Seamless localization/internationalization
  • Live chat-tool done with direct actions
