Using GNOME is an unofficial user’s guide for GNOME 3.x and later, a desktop environment that runs on the Linux operating system. Its core goal is to provide helpful information on how to use GNOME, and its application stack with ease and proficiency. We will also go over any and all core concepts, and the terminology that goes along with it.

The screenshots in this guide have been taken while running GNOME 44.2.

This guide is currently in the process of being updated for GNOME 3.x. As a result, much of the content and features you will read about in this guide no longer exists.
