There are four different species of Hyena: The Spotted Hyena, the Brown Hyena, the Striped Hyena, and the Aardwolf. What does it look like?
What does it eat?
editThe Aardwolf eats termites, and the other three types of Hyena are hunters and scavengers.
Where do they live?
editWith the exception of the Striped Hyena which has been seen in the jungles of India, all Hyena can be found in the arid environments like African savannahs and deserts. They can also be found in grasslands, woodlands, forest edges, subdeserts and small mountains.
