Purpose

This template allows you to easily create a basic Subject: page with minimal effort. It is not pretty or fancy, but it does create all the elements necessary to organize books by subject and highlight books with special features such as public collections, or books which are featured.

Use

To use this template, add this wikicode to the subject page:

{{subst:User:Whiteknight/Simple Subject|subject=SUBJECT|parent=PARENT}}

Make sure to replace SUBJECT with the name of the subject and PARENT with the name of its parent in the category hierarchy. If the books do not appear in the main namespace, such as in the wikijunior or help namespaces, you can specify the namespace you want to use with namespace=NAMESPACE too.
