The Miwa and Yamato Faiths may be treated as separately, but I prefer to treat them together

They are associated with Omiwa Shrine, and Oyamato Shrine respectively. Their deities are respectively called Ōmononushi (大物主) and Yamato Okunitama (倭大国魂神).

Both of these deities are often linked to Okuninushi. We addressed that idea last chapter
