Xian Fang Huo Ming Yin is composed of:
- Jin Yin Hua (Flos Lonicerae Japonicae) : 9g
- Fang Feng (Radix Saposhnikoviae) : 3g
- Bai Zhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae) : 3g
- Dang Gui Wei (Extremitas Radix Angelicae Sinensis) : 3g
- Chi Shao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra) : 3g
- Ru Xiang (Gummi Olibanum) : 3g
- Mo Yao (Myrrha) : 3g
- Bei Mu (Bulbus Fritillariae) : 3g
- Tian Hua Fen (Radix Trichosanthis) : 3g
- Chuan Shan ]ia (Squama Manis), zhi (fried with liquid) : 3g
- Zao Jiao Ci (Spina Gleditsiae), chao (dry-fried) : 3g
- Chen Pi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae) : 9g
- Gan Cao (Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae) : 3g

- Prepared as a decoction with water or with a 50:50 mixture of water and grain-based liquor.
