- Spleen &/or Stomach deficient Cold
- Shi Gao (石膏) - clear Heat from Lung & Stomach at Qi level, Coldest
- Zhi Mu - clear Heat from Lung & Stomach at Qi level, moistening, not as Cold as Shi Gao
- Lu Gen - clear Heat from Lung & Stomach at Qi level, injured Yin, especially Lung-Yin
- Zhi Zi (栀子) - mild Clear Heat & Drain Fire, initial stage Heat with irritability, eliminates Damp-Heat, Antibiotic and anti-inflammation [1][2]
- Dan Zhu Ye - specialist Clear Fire from Heart and Stomach
- Jue Ming Zi (决明子) - clear Heat from Liver Channel, pacifies Liver, extinguishes Fire, moistens Intestines
- Xia Ku Cao (夏枯草) - eye problems, Liver constraint complicated by excess Heat, headache, vertigo, scrofula
