E-services

The Revenue Department provide two choices of services to public both citizen and organization to choose.

  1. E-service. E-service provide to citizen or organization to access the service by himself individually . It is a service to the user one by one. This choice of service such as e-filing, e-registration, e-forms etc.
  2. Web service. Web service is a service using technology of web service provide to citizen or organization. The choice of Web service is a communication between application program of citizen or organization (service requester) and the Revenue Department (service provider) .

E-service

With the aim to implement a "green policy", The Revenue Department of Thailand has allowed Tax payers to file their taxes online.

First connect yourself to the website of the Revenue Department. Then click on the link called "E-filing" and follow instructions. The tax payer has to fill-in a form called "Por Or 01" on which addresses, company name, tax ID should be included. Once done, just print the form and physically bring it to the Revenue Department along with user company affidavit or tax ID in case the registration concerns an individual. As usual, (some of you are already very familiar with that) each document should be signed by the Director of the company or the by the Tax Payer. Also bring a signed copy of your passport. In case you send user accountant or an employee, do not forget to prepare a Power of Attorney appointing the person handling the E-filing registration.

  • E-Payment
    • A QR-code payment. Since the launch and implementation of the national e-payment plan, much attention has been given to QR code as the most cost-efficient and scalable way to expand access to electronic payments. As more people want to use QR payments, solutions have proliferated. To date, there are more than 20 financial institutions and non-financial players, including telecommunications networks, that offer QR code payments solutions - many of which still remain in a closed loop.
  • E-Registration
    • for value added tax (VAT);
    • for a special business tax (SBT).
  • E-Tax invoice. On January 2012 the Revenue department issued the regulation on «The preparation, delivery, and storage of e-Tax Invoices and receipts. B.E. 2555» and implement e-Tax Invoice as a new e-service to public.
  • E-Form
    • online application forms;
    • forms for download.
  • E-Revenue code. Online download Revenue code, both full and update for increasing of new issue every month.

Web services

The Revenue Department’s web services have been implemented since 2005 with 8 services until now RD launched 11 services. From 11 services the most frequent use are CheckTINPINService and VATService .

  • CheckTINPINService. Checking for validation and existence of Tax Identification Number (TIN) and Personal Identification Number (PIN) to prevent forging.
  • VATService. Providing comprehensive information of taxpayer who are the Value-added tax registrants. This will help a business to verify whether its partner can legally issue the tax invoice in accordance with the tax law in order to check if the tax invoice received is legal for his input tax credit. The service can also verify the existence of the business partner.
