The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (2019 video game)/Exploring Animal Village

Finding Animal Village edit

Head back the stairs used to cross the river, but do not descend down them. Instead head south to find the Animal Village. If you reach the telephone booth, you've gone too far and should return north.

Animal Village edit

Animal Village is the quirky "Sister City" of Mabe Village. The inhabitants here are not human, but are still friendly to Link.

In the Animal Village, talk to the snow white rabbit near the entrance. This rabbit wants a song from Marin.

In the northwestern house a white rabbit inside will mention a way to the south, which is said to be blocked by a walrus.

The next building to the east houses the crocodile (Or is it an Alligator?) artist Schule Donavitch, as well as a hippo model. Schule Donavitch mentions he made the mermaid statue at Martha's Bay as his unfinished masterpiece. The Hippo Model is less talkative.

An real life pink Hibiscus flower, similar to the one requested by Christine.

The next eastern neighbor is the goat Christine. Concerned with etiquette, she wants flowers. Specifically she wants a pink hibiscus before she will talk to Link. Her house shares a leitmotif with Mr. Write.

The neighboring house to the east is... empty? Looks can be deceiving, but leave for now.

The rabbit in the southeast corner is concerned for Marin, since the monsters have stopped visits between the two villages.

Enter the house in the southeast to meet Chef Bear. Chef Bear wants Link's Honeycomb, and is willing to trade in exchange for a Pineapple. Chef Bear tells Link to fetch Marin to get the walrus blocking the way to move. Chef Bear may also mention their plans to open a Mabe Village branch.

Head to the very south of Animal Village to activate a convenient warp pedestal. Warp back to the Ukuku Prairie to get a shortcut to Mabe Village.
