The Final Fantasy Legend/Character Types

Perhaps what differentiates Final Fantasy Legend the most from its brethren is the unique character types, humans, mutants, and monsters.

Humans

Humans, with their ability to carry eight items at a time, can be very useful. At the beginning of the game, are much stronger than mutants and some monsters. They level up by purchasing various potions such as STRONG, AGILITY, and HP200. These potions increase, respectively, the Strength, Agility, and HP(up to 200 points) of the humans that drink them. The HP of humans can further be raised by potions such as HP400.

Monsters

Otherwise uninteresting, monster characters have the ability to eat the meat of defeated enemies, possibly mutating them into another monster type (a double-edged sword, as mutations are not always beneficial).
