The Female Relief Society is the largest female only organization in the world and one of the oldest. It was founded in Nauvoo. Originally created to assit in the labor of the Nauvoo temple. It was organized into the Red Brick store by Joseph Smith Jr, with its first President of it, Emma Smith. The church’s leadership has included it as its female organization while the men hold the priesthood
