Use empty lines to separate paragraphs.

When writing multiple paragraphs, separate them by using a blank line between each paragraph. Otherwise, the paragraphs might not appear separate when you preview or save the page.

Avoid accidental links.

Do not do this!

Putting square brackets around any word that you want is a bad idea. If this wiki was an encyclopedia or dictionary, then you would make accidental links, but at this wiki, you would only make links to pages that most likely should not be created.

You can link arbitrary links to Wikipedia, Wiktionary, or some other wiki, by using the wiki:name of page syntax. Look at our interwiki map, or use the shortcuts "w:" and "wikt:" for Wikipedia or Wiktionary.

What you type What appears
You can put wikt:brackets around any wikt:word that wikt:you want if you link to Wiktionary.

If you write w:wiki, the "w:" shows. Use a pipe, like w:wiki or wiki.

Read more about Meatball:AccidentalLinking or our interwiki map. Note that if you know where an existing page is, such as astronomy or Wikijunior South America, then you can link to it.

There is advanced wiki markup for lists and indentations.

If you start a line with an asterisk *, it makes a bulleted list. The pound sign # makes a numbered list, while the colon : simply indents.
