This template is used to list hiragana and katakana.

Usage

edit
{{Japanese kana
 | kana     =
 | image    =
 | sound    =
 | mnemonic =
 | example  =
}}

Only the kana variable is required. The kana variable automatically picks a stroke order diagram. This can be overridden with the image variable.

There are extra variables for the voiced and plosive characters:

 | voiced          =
 | voiced_sound    =
 | voiced_mnemonic =
 | voiced_example  =
 | plosive          =
 | plosive_sound    =
 | plosive_mnemonic =
 | plosive_example  =
