Coins
editEvery course (except Radiant Emerald) has five coins to collect. If you collect them all and finish 3rd or better, you will race against a secret character. The character will be unlocked if you win.
Emeralds
editEvery course (except Radiant Emerald) has one or more Emeralds. To keep an Emerald you must finish the race in first place. Collect all seven to unlock Super Sonic.
Balloons
editEvery course has nine balloons to collect in two player mode. The first player to collect five wins.
