Section I Analytical Reasoning/Logic Games
editThe Set Up
editThis logic games asks us to order six factories on six consecutive days numbered 1-6.
Each factory is inspected only once during those six days: F, G, H, J, Q, R (Bold is the unaffected factory)
This is a simple linear order problem
Rules:
1. F is inspected on day 1 or day 6
2. J is inspected on some day earlier than Q
3. Q is inspected the exactly one day before R
4. If G is inspected on day 3, then Q is inspected on day 5
Deductions:
Because Q is immediately inspected before R, then we can add this statement (statement 3) to statement 4 and statement 1: If G is inspected on day 3, then Q is inspected on day 5 and R is inspected on day 6 and F is inspected on day 1.
