Pileus thin, submembranaceous, infundibuliform; margin decurved, nearly smooth, hygrophanous, white, disc often darker; gills white, very narrow, scarcely broader than the thickness of the flesh of the pileus, crowded, long, decurrent, subarcuate, some of them forked; stem slender, subequal, not hollow, whitish, mycelio-thickened at the base.
Amongst leaves in woods. August.
The gills are sometimes tinged with yellow, margin of pileus occasionally wavy.
