This mob prefers to stay in water, but can survive on land, just with reduced mobility.

Drops

Description

These monstrosities deal heavy damage. They kill squids on sight.

They attack by shooting a beam out of their single eye. This will not deal damage until about five seconds of charging. You can avoid damage by hiding behind cover.

They will attack anything that gets too close to it by extending its spikes.

Strategies

Avoid ranged damage by hiding behind cover, and get in close as soon as possible and kill it with a sword. It's extremely hard to avoid damage, so be sure to have strong armor.

Arrows don't work well in water, but tridents do. A trident can be a way to avoid melee damage, but remember that there is rarely just one guardian.
