M3F Formula File

.M3F is the native format for Mandelbulb3D formula definitions. A formula is the mathematical "DNA" of a fractal. It determines what parameters exist and how users can interact with them.

The Mandelbulb3D default installation includes hundreds of formulas, found in the M3Formulas folder. New formulas are being developed by volunteers. Fractalforums.com, the birthplace of the Mandelbulb, is still the place to go for new formulas.
