Bone Markings edit

Bone markings identify bumps, holes, and ridges on bones that serve a functional role, such as points of attachment for muscles, openings for blood vessels and nerves, and structures which are responsible for forming joints. Bone markings also serves as identifying features of a bone because each bone has a unique set of bone markings.
