Inductive Reasoning and Conjectures

Inductive reasoning is a type of reasoning used to come to a conclusion. It uses the conclusions based on past events or a pattern of specific examples. The conclusion is referred to as a conjecture. A conjecture is an unproven statement or rule made based on inductive reasoning. Conjectures can be either supported with an example, or disproved with a counterexample.
