Gothic has no indefinite article ("a" or "an").
The definite article ("the") is in the Gothic Bible replaced by the demonstrative pronoun, therefore, the definite articles aren't really definite articles but demonstrative pronouns, research however shows that there are not a lot of cases in which the Greek definite article is translated in Gothic. The demonstrative pronoun has a different form for each of the four cases (nominative, accusative, genitive and dative), the three genders (feminine, masculine and neuter), and for singular and plural.
