Final Fantasy IV/Characters/King of Baron

The King of Baron rules the empire from the capital city, Baron. He is a powerful leader, and desires to become even more powerful through acquisitions of Crystals. To this end, he orders Cecil and the Red Wings to attack Mysidia and take the Crystal of Water from that city.

When Cecil returns with the Crystal, the King is warned by Baigan that Cecil doubts the correctness of his orders. The King then strips Cecil of his leadership position, ordering him on a new mission to Mist to deliver a Package. When the Dragoon Kain protests, the King orders Kain to accompany Cecil.
