Deutsch: Clapotis an einer Wand
Es ist die perfekte Reflexion einer monochromatischen Welle an einer vertikalen Wand (Ufermauer) dargestellt. Die sich auf die Wand zu bewegende (ankommende) Welle (rot) wird ohne Phasensprung als gleichfrequente sich von der Mauer wegbewegende Welle (blau) reflektiert. Aus der Überlagerung der Wasserspiegelauslenkungen beider Wellen ergibt sich die Clapotis (schwarz) als stehende Welle. English: Clapotis at a wall This is a perfect reflection of a monocromatic wave at a vertical wall (bulkhead). The incoming wave (red) is reflected at the wall to produce the outgoing wave (blue). The combined wave (black) is the Clapotis standing wave. |
