A coma is profound state of unconsciousness. To determine if someone is in a coma it is recommended to use the glasgow coma scale.

The glascaw coma score is in a scale of three to fifteen, three being the worst.

  • 3- Eyes open after verbal command
  • 2- Open when in pain
  • 1- No response

Verbal response

  • 4- Disoriented
  • 3- Inappropriate response

Motor response
