ERP Internals/Modules/Systems Administration

The System Administration module controls data and tables that are used by more than one module. Typically, this data tailors the ERP to a particular enterprise. System Administration sets up new companies as well as user names, passwords and access to ERP data and functions. It starts up and shuts down the ERP, archives old data, backs up and restores data, and monitors performance. An example of multi-module data is the company name and address. Every ERP has a Systems Administration module.

Tables edit

The first group of tables consists of the User table which contains one record for every user and the User Access table which contains one record for every function the user can perform. There is at least one access record for every user and there can be many.

Data Exchange edit

Systems Administration does not send or receive transactions to/from other modules.
