Description
editAnimated objects are constructs which come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. They owe their existence to spells such as animate objects and similar supernatural abilities.[2] Such objects act according to the commands of their creator; they lack intelligence and have only a minimum of wisdom. The abilities of an animated object vary based upon their type; rugs can grapple, objects with legs can run, heavy objects can trample, and so forth.
Publication history
editAnimated objects first appeared in the third edition Monster Manual. They also appeared in the 3.5 version of the Monster Manual.
