  1. Preheat oven to 350˚F.
  2. Cream sugar, egg and shortening together.
  3. Add all-purpose baking mix and five-spice.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and roll the balls in sugar.
  6. Bake at 350˚F for 5 to 6 minutes.
