Consociety/Influences on Society

Societies are influenced by many different factors, like geography and religion. For example, if they believe there is a God who told them to never have a leader, but a system in which everyone gets to vote on everything, the society would be very different from one which thinks God is appointing leaders who should have absolute, unrestricted power.
