Category:Wikibooks unstable policies
Actually, unstable policies are not polices; they are simply forked versions of policies which users can edit to make proposed changes to policies.
Generally, to make an unstable version of a policy:
- Edit the policy that you want to fork. Below the {{policy}} tag, add a {{branch unstable}} tag, then save or preview page. (You could also fork a {{draft}} policy, but that might not be necessary.)
- Click the link to the unstable version, "Wikibooks:Name of policy/Unstable". Copy the policy and begin editing. Change the {{policy}} tag to an {{unstable}} tag.
When you put the {{unstable}} tag on your unstable version, the policy will appear in this category.
