The Internet Archive team began an effort to repair link on Wikipedia in late 2015. Two notable tools were developed, Internet Archive Bot, and Wayback Medic. They evolved through practical experience and iteration. This book will classify and describe some of the concepts and solutions discovered.

The concepts described here are applicable to link rot, wherever it might exist. Wikipedia was the testbed for this work.

The books describes the concepts, some example of types, and methods for repair.
