AP Biology/Cell-Cell Interactions

Cell communication and cell-to-cell interaction is the basis for multicellular life. Without intercellular interaction, no organism could carry out the complex biochemical processes necessary for life. Cells communicate using chemical messengers, which cause cascade reactions that cause a change in the actual cell.
