My primary area of interest is Software Quality, especially in regards to Usability. I've got a background in pre-press publishing, but that was in the heyday of Aldus PageMaker. Still, the urge to design has never left my bones.

I hope to bring an aesthetic eye to everything that I do, so I imagine I'll do the same here. While I may not be able to spot dangling participles, I'm nearly always wrangled into spearheading User Documentation for the projects that I've worked on, due to my desire to communicate ideas clearly.

As a non-traditional student, technical (and mathematical) content isn't always my strongest subject. However, I am delighted by learning and fascinated with this project. I thought perhaps I could bring my "beginner's mind" to wiki books, and improve the education other life-long students such as myself.

Hopefully, if I spot some tangled turn of phrase, I'll help it more than I hurt it.
