How to Get Better Marks edit
- Easy to read language and grammar
- Well set out - visually appealing layout and appropriate use of images
- Word Count is 1000 words
- Depth of insight - not just recounting what they write in the paper, what does it actually mean
- A critique, could they have investigated a different way? Any problems with their design that should cause you to question, or doubt their conclusions
- How does the research sit in the field, what have other papers about the topic found that support, go against what this paper suggests
- What are the take at home messages
- How can the findings of this study be applied in the real world
- Given the outcomes, what else should the reader can consider
- Think about potential risks, practical tips, on-line resources, cautions based on other research (all of this should be referenced)
- Remember the word count! Any text past the end of the word count won't be read, and you will not get marks for whatever comes after.
