Horizontal frank with single-line border enclosing TM.

A7. Pitney Bowes-GB “5000” series (MV).

Very similar to Type A6 but the top inscription does not extend above the town mark.

NOTE. When sheet stamps of various denominations are out of stock stamps of Type 7 are sold over the counter in post offices as provisional replacements. The clerk replaces the day in the date with dashes and prints the stamps on plain white adhesive labels. The labels can be taken away for later use. When used they are cancelled like traditional stamps. See image at right.




 


A8. Pitney Bowes-GB “6300” (MV).

Similar to Type A3 but smaller and without frame line at top.

Similar to Type A8 but with “CORREOS DE LA REPUBLICA DE" over "PANAMA” at top and value figures larger.

A10. Unidentified (digital).

Similar to Types A1 and A2 but without town mark circle. The date appears between two horizontal lines.
At top, "REPUBL" is in large letters left of boxed "UBLICA DE PANAMA" in smaller letters with boxed "CORREOS" attached below. The letters "UBL" are repeated. The stamp appears to contain an error of assembly. Despite this, two different meters have been reported:    P 321415  and   P 321417

Plain white self-adhesive label with rounded corners and the frank printed in black.
At left is CORREOS PANAMA above the COTEL PANAMA logo (Correos y Telegrafos Panama).
At right is a square QR matrix bar code above what is possibly an identification number, P.B.N. 4006 in this case.
At bottom right are the value figures.

OO1. Pitney Bowes (GB) "Automax" (MV)

This is a fiscal stamp used for postage.
Frank with straight frame lines at top, bottom, and right and open on the left.
REPUBLICA de PANAMA across the top. Country coat of arms at left, three stacked stars at right. At bottom are CENTISIMOS DE BALBOA above large TIMBRE NACIONAL.
Meter number with "P.B." prefix breaks the bottom frame line.
Not seen with town mark.
