Description The wireless keyboard controller for the Socrates, an educational entertainment ("edutainment") video game console released in 1988 by VTech. The first in a line of edutainment consoles still being released today by VTech, the Socrates was marketed to kids and played simple teaching games. A wireless keyboard controlled the system, which featured two break-out joypads, and a mouse and tablet controller were sold separately. The system ran off 6 D batteries or could use an optional AC adapter.
