Description
English: Polyplax female, ventral. Genus characteristics: 1- Head is short and blunt; eyes and ocular points are absent. 2- Antennae are large relative to size of head. 3- Fore-legs are small relative to mid- and hind-legs; they have no tibial spurs. 4- Paratergal plates are present on the abdomen. 5- Abdominal segments bear two rows of setae. 6- Sternal plate on ventral surface of thorax is large. Also: body is small.
