Plant collected by Bob Jordan on 2 July 2012 and photographed in Bozeman. From a dry saline seep growing with Puccinellia nuttalliana, Hordeum jubatum, and Iva axillaris (povertyweed). Poa arida is very much like Poa secunda except for the rhizomatous growth form and generally thicker stems (about 2 mm in diameter).
