English: Introduced, warm-season, annual or biennial, erect, sparsely hairy to hairless herbaceous legume to 150 cm tall. Leaves are 3-foliolate; leaflets are oblong-oblanceolate to obovate or elliptic, 7–35 mm long and toothed; petioles are to 40 mm long and stipules are bristle-like, about 5 mm long and entire. Flowerheads are 40–100-flowered racemes, longer than the subtending leaves and elongating in pod. Flowers are 4–6 mm long and white. Pods are rounded, 3–5 mm long, wrinkled, hairless and greyish-brown. Flowering is mostly in summer. A native of Europe and Asia, it is an occasional roadside weed.
