English: Mansonia thorax and parts. Genus characteristics: 1- Thorax is without prespiracular setae, but postspiracular setae are present. 2- Thorax has a sparse covering of long setae and broad scales. 3- Abdomen is blunt ended. 4- Wings have broad scales on their veins and these scales may form speckled patterns. 5- Claws of the legs are without spurs and the pulvilli are small or absent. |
