Description The Magnavox Odyssey 2, released in 1979, it is the successor to the original Magnavox Odyssey and Magnavox's first programmable console. The system's most notable feature is a alpha-numeric membrane keyboard, which could be used for a few different games, including a limited programming cartridge. Also, note that this is the revised version of the console, that added removable joysticks instead of hard-wired ones.
