Description
English: Transformer building terminating power lines from the 500 kV Futaba power transmission line behind reactors 5 and 6 at the Fukushima I nuclear power plant in Japan. These lines remained energized throughout the entire earthquake and tsunami incident of March 2011. This photo was taken on June 23, 1999 during a plant tour.
