Summary
| Description |
A parasitic mite of the genus Dermanyssus (probably Dermanyssus gallinae living on poultry (sucking blood). Scale : Technical settings : - focus stack of 27 images - microscope objective (Nikon achromatic 10x 160/0.25) on bellow This stack was unsuccessful because the focus steps where not short enough (cfr resulting succession of sharp and unsharp bands). The mite was moving regularly its legs, so it was necessary to do the stack quickly (but too quickly here...). |
