Description The Atari Jaguar CD, an add-on for the 1993 Atari Jaguar home gaming console. The Jaguar CD was released in 1995 and is an add-on drive that allowed the system to play music CDs or games from CD-ROMs. It attached to the top of the console, plugging into the cartridge slot. It has a pass-through slot on the top for games cartridges or an optional Memory Track cart, which would allowed for game saving when playing CD-ROMs. The Jaguar CD required its own power supply and has a DC power port on the back of the unit.
